Hello viewers today is a special post regarding one of my favorite hobbies, reading books. In this post, I am going to tell you what I think are the best book series for 10-14 year old’s with reviews.
The “Wings of Fire” Series
The “Wings of Fire” series by Tui T. Sutherland is a must read for children between grades 4-8. It is a fantasy novel series revolving around dragons and has the arcs. Each arc has it’s own main characters and each arc has five books. It has 3 arcs currently with 14 main characters. It has heavy plot and is filled with suspense. I have read every book and am a big fan of this amazing series. With magic, family, romance and dark hidden secrets it is a must read for all tweens and teens. The only reason I don’t rate this 5 stars is because it contains a lot of plot holes and answered questions. Along with the 3 main arcs are legends set in different time from different points of views as well as short stories of supporting characters told by them during the time of the main arcs and “Legends” books. Overall this is a must read and I extremely recommend this series to all tweens and teens
The “SURVIVORS” Series
The “SURVIVORS” series is by a group of authors under the pen name Erin Hunter. Erin Hunter has written many series on different animals and the Survivors series focuses on the life of dogs after a massive earthquake. This is a great series for children age 9 – 14 years old. It is set in two arcs and is each arc is from a different point of view. It is a series filled with mystery, suspense, betrayal and death as well as love, happiness, trust and life. It shows life from a dogs point of view and really make sympathies for animals. The only reason I rate it 4 1/2 stars and not 5 is because the authors did not make any manga comics (which other series by Erin Hunter have) as well as they should have made more books on the backgrounds of some characters.
