Noises and Niceties

Hello viewers, sorry for not posting last week.

The past two weeks have been a bit troubling. As many of you may know, the riots in the USA and the Covid 19 cluster in Australia linked to one of my favorite sports (tennis), specifically the Australian Open is also disturbing. On the other hand, news of a vaccine just around the corner is quite satisfying. I am also under a week away from joining my new high school :). Talking about high school, I have been looking forward to it for quite a while and lately I have been using my new gadgets for my studies and a bit of gaming. I updated my cricket game on my PS4 to fix a glitch that was bugging me. That got me thinking on technology in general.

Here is a poem about technology to capture my thoughts.

Technology

The evolving gadgets
our new way of life
Supposedly there
to end all our strife

Cool as they are
cool as they look
They don't break easy
or rip like a book

These fun things they are there
for us to enjoy
but we must remember
they are not a plain, harmless toy

So still we must stand
ready and strong
To undo all cruel people make,
technology do wrong.
