Hi Readers, it’s Aadi here and I’m back. I hope you enjoyed your week as I did mine. I convinced my dad to play a cricket game on my PlayStation and now he loves it. Just set up my new Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga with my wireless mouse and headset :). I heard about the vaccines coming out and I am overjoyed. I hope we can end this stupid pandemic soon
My story this week is a slightly scary one
The Forest
It was a cold stormy night with only the full moon there for light. The world looked across the dark forest with their beady eyes, before letting out Held to the night. The only other noise was a man and the child shivering together in fear.
The thunder echoed as it struck a tree catching ablaze. The forest lighting the campsite. The father and son ran for their lives with the essentials. on the run from the fire, the father lost his shoe to the blaze. In terror, he screamed. Soon the wolves caught on with the childish squeals. The smelt the fear and ran after them. this time the man lost his phone to the wolves. they were in trouble.
They found out the officials and authorities were 3 kilometres away. Nobody could help them. Nobody would see them die. Everybody must be sleeping. the wolves now were gaining on them like never before. The fire also cornered them. Now the young 5 year old boy stopped, stood, and began to cry. all you wanted was a nice camping trip that he dreamt off. Now that dream had become a living nightmare. Meanwhile, the Father watched cautiously on the movements of both the flaming circle forming around him, and the wolves patiently eyeing their prey.
It was then that he heard the wailing sounds or the police car. Following on, was a massive group of campers in their nightgowns watching in anticipation. The flaming circle had barely died down when the wolves hopped in. Now there was nothing between the wolves and the pair. Just when it seemed like it was over, the flames suddenly died down and the boy hopped out. He awaited his father, but that was not meant to be. The man’s leg was cut and now bleeding profusely. The Father, was trapped
Here is the poem for this week
Our Life On Earth
The Earth is where we live
The earth is where we’ll die
Do we only live for money
To earn live and buy
There were and are some who made more of this time
And revolutionised our lives
We will treasure their work greatly
And keep their names in famous archives
So tell me what you will do
Will you strive to do your best
Or will you at least
Make the world a better for the rest
See you next week
